Learn to Skate
Our Learn to Skate program is a fun, supportive introduction to youth hockey for first-time players. Children build confidence while developing fundamental skating and hockey skills through guided instruction, skating activities, and skill stations.
With support for beginners and additional challenges for more advanced players, every child can learn at their own pace and grow their love of the game.

Before Buying Equipment
Consider gently used equipment whenever possible. Used gear especially skates are already broken in, making it more flexible, comfortable, and easier for young players to adjust to being fully geared up.
Auburn Hockey Club has a limited selection of used equipment, and local stores like Play It Again Sports are also great options for affordable, quality gear.
Comfortable equipment can make those first weeks on the ice much more enjoyable!
